How do the on-site presentations work?

What to expect during your speaker's talk

If your speaker would like to see the room, or have a brief test run of the slides, they are welcome to visit the conference room in a networking break before their talk.

Your speaker will be asked to stand behind the podium on the X mark. The microphone and slide advancer will be on the podium (your speaker is welcome to bring their own laptop to present from as well if needed).


Speaking slots are 30 minutes – we recommend a 25-minute presentation, and leaving 5 minutes for any Q&A’s from the audience.


The preferred presentation slide format is 16:9, please ensure that you or your speaker have sent us the presentation slides prior to the event. 

All presentation slides will then be pre-loaded in the correct conference room ready for your speaker when they arrive at the event. Speakers may bring an updated version (on a USB) to the event should there be any changes.
